Carolyn Bohn

My "real" career began with teaching English and secretarial courses in high school and junior college. Returning to work after the children were in school, I began a second career in health care operations including manager of consumer relations, operations manager on state and then regional level, and finally consulting in health care technology.

My "passion" began with a watercolor class in 1990. While consulting I was on the road full time and couldn't pursue much art. In 1999 I retired to Savannah where I was able to spend more time painting, this time with pastels. In the years since I have explored oils and acrylics but pastels remain my favorite. While I prefer landscapes, I am trying new things such as animals, portraits and abstract.

I love these creative pursuits. Our world is a beautiful place; there are so many ways to be creative. Mine is visual poetry.
