Always having a natural ability to draw and paint, Ron Buttler pursued art as a hobby while working for General Electric in upstate New York. After receiving early retirement and moving to Aiken, SC, he is now free to create art and develop his abilities more fully.

 
He enjoys creating portraits in oil and pastel and has painted landscapes and wildlife as subjects of murals and large wall-size paintings.
