Bruce Ingram

ABOUT THE FOLK ARTIST BRUCE INGRAM

Bruce Ingram was born January 10, 1960 near the Coast of Horry County, SC adjacent to

the Myrtle Beach area. He attended Finklea Elementary and graduated in 1979 from Green

Sea Floyd High School. Where he was voted most creative in his class in which he

contributes to the gift that God has blessed him with, that's why you see in a lot of his pieces

the Lord's eyes in the sky that represents His knowing all and Seeing all.


He was brought up by War World I Veteran The Honorable John O' Floyd and his

nurturing wife Ida Mae Floyd, and being raised on the family tobacco farm is where

he was inspired to Create works of art that tells a story on pieces of tin, wood, bowls and

chairs and anything historical.


He attended Mercer Community College where he studied Visual Art and Photography.

Mr Ingram now lives in Augusta, GA and he is a member of the Gertrude Herbert Institute

and the North Augusta Art Guild where he has displayed many of his pieces.
