I am originally from New Jersey and moved to Augusta GA in 1997. I studied architecture at Rutgers University and earned my BA degree in 1982. It was not until 2005 that I began painting, first in oils, but now mostly watercolor and acrylics. I am pretty much a self taught artist; if there really is such a thing but I have been taking classes at the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art.
